Zenel Solar provides industry-leading warranty protection for all solar panels, ensuring reliable performance and peace of mind for years to come. Our warranty is backed by rigorous quality control and decades of photovoltaic engineering expertise.

Product Warranty: 12 years from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal application, installation, use, and service conditions.

Performance Warranty: 25 years linear power output guarantee. Panels warranted to produce at least 97% of rated power in the first year, with no more than 0.55% annual degradation, ensuring at least 84.8% rated power at end of year 25.

Our warranty covers the following:

  • Manufacturing defects in solar cells, encapsulation, and back sheet materials
  • Defects in junction box assembly, wiring, and connectors
  • Frame damage due to manufacturing defects (rigid panels)
  • Delamination, yellowing, or discoloration that affects performance
  • Power output degradation exceeding the guaranteed annual rate
  • Premature failure of bypass diodes within the panel

How to File a Warranty Claim

If you believe your Zenel solar panel has a defect covered under warranty, follow these steps to submit a claim. Our dedicated warranty team will guide you through the entire process.

  • Step 1 — Document the Issue: Take clear photos of the affected panel(s), including close-ups of any visible damage. Record the serial number, model number, installation date, and a detailed description of the problem.
  • Step 2 — Contact Our Team: Email [email protected] with your documentation. Include your original purchase order or invoice number for faster processing.
  • Step 3 — Review & Assessment: Our technical team will review your submission within 5 business days. We may request additional information or arrange an on-site inspection if necessary.
  • Step 4 — Resolution: For approved claims, Zenel will repair or replace the defective panel at no cost to you. Replacement panels will be of equal or greater specifications.
  • Step 5 — Follow-Up: Our support team will follow up within 30 days after resolution to ensure your complete satisfaction and confirm the replacement panel is performing as expected.

Warranty Exclusions

While our warranty provides extensive coverage, there are certain conditions and circumstances that fall outside the scope of this warranty. Please review the following exclusions carefully.

  • Damage caused by improper installation, handling, or maintenance not in accordance with Zenel's installation guidelines and applicable local codes
  • Damage resulting from accidents, acts of nature (including but not limited to lightning, flooding, hail, fire, earthquake, or hurricane), vandalism, or other events beyond Zenel's control
  • Modifications, alterations, or repairs made to the panel by unauthorized personnel or using non-approved components
  • Use of the panel beyond its rated electrical, mechanical, or environmental specifications as defined in the product datasheet
  • Cosmetic damage that does not materially affect the electrical performance or safety of the panel, including minor scratches or surface blemishes
  • Damage caused by incorrect electrical connections, reverse polarity, or system-level issues such as inverter faults or grid surges
  • Panels purchased from unauthorized distributors or resellers, or panels with removed, altered, or illegible serial number labels
  • Normal wear and degradation that remains within the guaranteed performance curve outlined in the warranty terms
